Fluency in Information Technology CSE3 By Tess O’Hanrahan Data Analysis and Visualization with MS Excel - We created a realistic budget ffor our current personal living expenses, and displayed the information through comprehensive pie charts and bar graphs . Computational Thinking Computational thinking allows for the integration of human intelligence and computer technology, providing us with analytical problem solving skills and a better understanding of computational technology in our work and lives Making Information Available to the World with HTML and Web Pages Using Basic HTML, we created a homepage and put it online, which continued to be the location of links to the rest of our work throughout the course Desktop Publishing with MS Word Presentation of Information with MS PowerPoint We used Excel spreadsheets to manipulate and display stock data, ultimately presenting the financial information in a Powerpoint presentation Using file structures and advanced Microsfot Word features, we formatted a page with color Model information Visual Programming With Alice Using the Alice program, we created an animation sequence of frogs interacting on a lily pad with basic programming Dynamic Webpage Programming with JavaScript Learning variables, assignments, operant overloading, and conditional statements in JavaScript, in addition to our HTML knowledge, allowed us to create an interactive coffee -order web page.
