Gallery Walk • Work in assigned groups of 2 – 3. • When Mr. Hawes displays your assignments, quietly move to your starting poster in 10 seconds. • Take your guided notes and a pencil. • Work as a group to solve the problem on the poster. • Then show your work on the space provided in your notes. • Complete all sixproblems around the room. • You will have 2 minutes per poster. • Use library level voices. • Rotate clockwise when Mr. Hawes says rotate; get to your next poster in 10 seconds.

Independent Practice • Work silently and on your own. • Choose your starting level – Bachelor’s or Master’s. • When the teacher says start, do only problem #1. • When finished, raise a silent hand. • The teacher will come and check your answer – if he says, “good” – it’s correct and you should continue with the next two problems. • If it’s not correct, fix the mistake pointed out by the teacher. Then raise your hand again to have your answer checked. • When finished with problems with the next two problems, raise your hand silently again to have your answers checked. • Then continue with the next two, and so on. • 5 terrific tickets to any students who follows these directions perfectly.
