Names of Tribes The names of the tribes were Blackfoot, Cheyenne, Comanche, Pawnee, Shoshone, and Sioux Nation.
They lived in tepees. They lived in what is now, Kansas, South Dakota, Nebraska and many other states in the Midwest. The descendants now live in Canada. Where They Lived
How did they decide were to live? They decided where to live based on the weather and climate. Their land was wet and moist. They had plenty of bison.
Facts about our Tribe The men were warriors and hunted for the food. The men attacked very quickly. They made paints and natural dyes with berries. They carved pipes out of wood.
Comparing and Contrasting the Tribes Native Americans • The Native Americans were giving away the items • The Native Americans had cooperation and they were competitive. • The Europeans were saving up to trade for items • The Europeans had the same skills as the Native Americans Europeans
Wrap It Up. We learned a lot about these tribes. We learned about how the blackfoot got their name. They walked on fire, barefooted. But we still wondered about the leaders of the tribes. These were their tepees.
