Risk Behaviors • Risk behaviors are actions or choices that may cause injury or harm to you or others • Consequences- the results of actions • Academic • Financial • Legal • Physical • Mental/Emotional • Social Examples?
Reducing and Avoiding Risks • Prevention- taking steps to make sure that something does not happen • Abstinence- refusing to participate in unsafe behaviors or activities
