What is the difference between an autobiography and memoir? • Autobiography- an account of a person's life written by that person • Memoir- a historical account or biography written from personal knowledge
What is prewriting? • Prewriting is the first stage of the writing process. • One way you can prewrite is to use a graphic organizer to organize your thoughts. • On a graphic organizer you should have: • The topic • Main ideas/ points • Theme • Setting
