1. SHPS ENRICHMENT ART CLASSES WITH INSTRUCTOR SAMANTHA McGILL Preschool – Kindergarten SESSION I Mondays, Sept. 8 – 29 From: 3:00 – 4:00 PM Cost is $60.00 Class limited to 15 students. Bring a smock or extra shirt. Sept. 8: King or Queen of the Kitchen. Students make a wild & wacky version of themselves from kitchen items. Sept. 15: Splat! Students get in touch with their inner Jackson Pollack with splatter painting. Sept. 22: Alphabet Art. Come decorate a whole set of ABC magnets. Sept. 29: Here comes the sun! Summer days are celebrated with a cool crayon sun catcher. “Every child is an artist, the problem is, how to remain one.” –Picasso Come to our art class at Southern Highlands Prep School where children will play and interact with art. This program will teach children a variety of mediums in a fun, relaxed setting. From pencils to paintbrushes, and everything in between, your child will be challenged with each project to think outside the box! Registration: tear off and return to the school with payment.
