4. Dr. Farhat Shaikh graduated from Dow Medical College in 2000 and completed her residency in family medicine at the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program. She is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with over 15 years of experience. She became a physician to serve others and empower patients to take control of their health. Dr. Shaikh emphasizes the importance of the physician-patient relationship and takes time to ensure you feel seen, heard, and understood with each interaction. By transitioning to direct primary care, Dr. Shaikh can extend her time with you and focus on proactive interventions that will help you achieve optimal health. She is excited to offer a practice setting where she is readily accessible when you need her and can take time to get to know you and your family.
