A Different Teaching and Learning Style • 12 years’ education in China-lots of assumptions and expectation made • Lectures • Leading and authority vs. Challenging and independence • Closer distances between students and lecturers here
A Different Teaching and Learning Style • Seminars • No such things in China or still at experimental stage • Opportunity for individual help and group discussion but preparations required • “Boil dumplings in the teapot” • Try to get the most out it -Thinking generating, participating, multiple-way communicating
