Have You Had the Similar Experience? • “Why Chinese Students Don’s Speak English” • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgN7TsL8DtY
English! The hardest thing ever! • When I was doing the interview, the conversation below happened a lot, • “I am doing a project for my WRD class, Do you mind to talk to me for a minute?” “Yes, but can you speak Chinese? I am not comfortable to talk in English.” OR • “My English is poor, so can you speak Chinese? That would make everything easier.”
Happy Chinese New Year in Library? • Since the Chinese New Year is generally in February, when is always in school days, so normally Chinese students in USA just spend this important festival in library doing work.
Missing Home • In Chinese culture, people believe that moon can convey their hope to someone who is looking at the moon at the same time in another place.
Ask for Attention!! • It is really not easy to live far away from families and everything you are familiar with. There are a lot of interesting Chinese culture that you have never heard about because this community is not known well by people. Pay more attention to them, it is worth!
