Division In The Church • Denominationalism • Racism • Genderism Galatians 3:26-28 KJV For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Denominationalism • 1Cor 1:10: Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11: For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 12: Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13: Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? • 1 Cor 3:3:For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? 4: For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? • Galatians 5:19: Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20: Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, • Heresies (Factions, Sects, Party spirit)

Denominationalism • Heresies: GK{Factions} a self seeking group in a government. • Sects: Lat. {Factions}A group of people that forms a distinct unit within a larger group by virtue of certain refinement or distinctions of belief or practice. A religious body that has separated from a larger denomination. • Galatians 5:20 AMP: a party spirit. • Party Spirit: (party) a political group organized to promote and support its principles and candidates for public office. A selected group. • Democrat or republican • alpha phi or omega psi • Baptist or African Methodist Episcopal (AME) It’s all Man Made

Denominationalism • It’s All Man Made • Baptist: Separatist Movement in the 1600's in England by John Calvin, and John Knox • AME: started in 1787 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by Richard Allen • COGIC: started in 1897 in Little Rock, Arkansas by Charles H. Mason which reorganized in Tennessee. • Lutheran: Martin Luther started the Lutheran Church in the 16th century • Catholic: started in 325 AD by the Roman Emperor Constantine • Protestant: Any church that wasn’t considered Catholic • Methodist: started by John Wesley in the 1700’s • Apostolic: The church was founded in the early 1830's by Samuel Froehlich • Rastafarian: Founded in the 1930’s by Haile Selassie I (Emperor of Ethiopia 1930-74) • Mormon (Latter Day Saints): Founded in the1820’s by Joseph Smith, Jr. • Jehovah’s Witness: Founded in the 1870’s by Charles Taze Russell • Seventh Day Adventist: Founded by Joseph Bates, James White & Ellen G. White in the 1863 • etc. • I can keep going on and on and on, but the point still remains the same… All denominations are man made • 1Cor: 1:13: Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you?

Christianity • Christ: The Messiah, the anointed one (Not Jesus last name). • Christian: Christ like, having the spiritual qualities or attributes of Christ. • Christianity: The state or fact of being a Christian. • Jn:1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. • Jn:1:14: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. • Jn:14:6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. • 1Cor:3:11: For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Racism • Rom:2:11: For there is no respect of persons with God. • Prov:28:21KJV To have respect of persons is not good: for a piece of bread that man will transgress. • 2Chron:19:7: Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts. • 1Jn:5:1: Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God • Gal:3:28: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. • Acts:17:26: And hath made of one bloodall nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

Genderism • Gen 1:27: So God created man (generic) in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. • Women came from man’s side and not his foot therefore she is beside him and not beneath him. • Gen:2:18: And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. • It wasn’t good that man was alone so God made someone who can help him [help meet (able help)] in the ministry at that time. • Eph:4:11: And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; • Phil:4:3: And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellow labourers, whose names are in the book of life. • 1Cor:11:3: But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. • It’s all a type of marriage Ephes:5:21-33 • The Kingdome of God dealing with Christ and the Church • The house dealing with Husband and Wife • The church dealing with Man and Woman • Phil:2:6: Who (JESUS), being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: • Yet we still all have our submissive places as 1Cor:11:3 says.

  14. for ye are all one in Christ Jesus • Gal:3:28: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. • Ps:133:1: Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren(generic) to dwell together in unity! • Acts:2:1: And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. • Gen:11:6: And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. • The bottom line is that we are all supposed to be one in Christ and when we finally get back to being one there will be a deliverance for the body of Christ that we can’t even imagine. • Let’s Start Here… One In Christ!
