Why do you think I think that? • If I change the first sentence, • How does it change the flow? • Compare this author’s sentences to Lemony Snicket’s. How unfortunate for you. You have to read this essay about those most unfortunate Baudelaire orphans. It was penned by that most unfortunate of authors, Lemony Snicket.

  2. Student Goals • Identify and analyze symbolism in “Through the Tunnel.” • Demonstrate comprehension of “Through the Tunnel.”
