The NSF Standards 2008 • D1 - Managing Services and Knowledge, Risk and Information Governance (36 criteria) • D2 - Commissioning, Finance, Contracts and Partners (39 criteria) • D3 - Human Resources and Staff Management (96 criteria) • D4 - Infrastructure, Facilities and Safety (67 criteria) • D5 - Customer Engagement (36 criteria)
Developing National Standards 2009-2010 • July 2009 - Agreed to use structure of NSF • Set up 3 working groups • Refined relevant criteria down from 274 to 48 • Shared work via wiki • Issued 2 drafts for consultation • Innovations – submission form and guidance • Issued April 2010
2012 Refresh • Task and Finish Group • SurveyMonkey to identify priorities for change • Reviewed suggestions for change • Updated admissible evidence, compliance guidanceand additional tools • Deleted 1 criterion • Added 2 knowledge management criteria • Issued April 2012 – 49 criteria
