  4. 2008 Spring Tutorial • What: “How to Write Good Requirements” • Who: Lou Wheatcraft, Senior Consultant/Instructor for Compliance Automation, Inc. • When: Saturday, 19 April 2008, 08:30 – 16:30 • Where: MTS in Eden Prairie • How to Sign Up: Go to the North Star website and click on “Tutorial Page”. Then download the announcement and application form (Deadline – COB 11 April) Lou Wheatcraft is a well known expert on requirements. When you leave this session you WILL know how to write good requirements!

  7. Attendance • Why sign in? • For the past several years we have had the chapter incentive program to encourage attendance at our meetings. We will continue offering an incentive. • For guests or members attending for the first time, this also insures your notification by email of all subsequent events • IF YOU WRITE SO WE CAN READ IT!! SO - BE SURE AND SIGN THE ATTENDANCE LIST!

Ambassador Program • In the past we had an active list of Chapter Ambassadors • Ambassadors are representatives at local companies who are willing to post flyers and otherwise publicize Chapter events • We need to reactivate the Ambassador Program. • If you would be willing to periodically place announcements on bulletin boards and otherwise spread the word, please contact John Palmer at: jpalmer@usfamily.net • The chapter will host an Ambassador’s lunch later this summer

Over the past twenty years, Chris has worked to bring modern software engineering best practices to practical application at many different private companies and government organizations all over the world. He has worked in many different industries including financial services, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, education, publishing, real estate, life sciences, and social services. He has spoken at over 30 conferences over the last eight years and has written a number of articles for various publications including Cutter IT Journal and Rational Developer Network. In 2005, Chris started Armstrong Process Group, Inc., and continues his focus on organizational development, process improvement training and consulting, and IT professional development and certification.
