  2. Limited Government Definition • Limited government is a type of government in which the functions and powers of authority are written, limited, and restricted by law to protect the citizenry.

The streams of national power ought to flow immediately from that pure original fountain of all legitimate authority.” –Alexander Hamilton • This quote means that what the people want is what the people should get for their government and they shouldn’t be restricted to what their government wants.
