WE WILL: • Strive to be in the top 75% of institutions with overall housing satisfaction • Maintain percent return rates to residence halls for the next year • Develop FYE outcomes and development of FYE Task Force • Develop On-Line Orientation Communication and Implementation Plan • Increase Wellness/Health Education Outreach Programming • Finalize Business Plan for ECLC and Increase Campus Partnerships • Implement Case Management System through Case Manager for Student Rights and Responsibilities
STUDENT SUCCESS Student Success is defined as students achieving academic, personal, and professional growth through educationally purposeful programs, events, services, and activities within and beyond the classroom. This is only achieved through a welcoming and inclusive University environment and a supportive CWU community.
HOW DO WE KNOW IF WE HAVE MET SUCCESS? • If we have provided resources for students in achieving their academic, personal and professional growth. • If we have created opportunities for students to integrate curricular and co-curricular learning through student engagement and achievement activities. • If we have allowed students to explore their personal and community identities and allowed them opportunities to increase understanding and the values of difference. • If we have encouraged student responsibility and community accountability in decision making and personal growth. • If we have collaborated strategically across the campus and • beyond so that students benefit from a seamless experience • that is characterized by a smooth delivery of excellent programs • and services.
Student Living—Mission • Student Living develops premier residential communities and programs that promote student learning and personal development. DEPARTMENTAL CHANGES: New Residence Hall Barto Hall, Wellington Center, Susan Rancourt Memorial Enrollment Items With an increase of 360 new beds, we needed to decrease bed count (not utilizing Carmody/Munro or Green Hall. Davies is all singles. We are not down in enrollment! Anderson moved to apartment style living (comprehensive housing plan) Positional Items New Case Manager Position Early Childhood Learning Center Area Changes Filling Vacant Positions Apartment Manager in Brooklane Other Living Learning Community Changes
