  4. The Taj Mahal was built by the orders of Shah Jahan, the fifth Muslim Mogul emperor and built by the local architect Ustad Ahmad Lahori.

  5. Shah Jahan was born in 1592. He ruled the Mughal empire in India from 1628 to 1666. During his reign the Mughals reached their artistic Golden Age, with vast treasures and magnificent architecture. Great Emperor Shah Jahan

  6. The Taj Mahal is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and the finest example of the late style of Indian Islamic architecture.

  7. The Taj Mahal according to tradition, the Taj Mahal was built by a Turkish architect. It is made of white marble and rests on a platform of red sandstone.

  8. The Taj Mahal was built out of white marble and standing formally laid-out walled gardens, the Taj Mahal is regarded as the most perfect jewel of Muslim art in India.

  9. The Taj Mahal was built to honor the memory of Shah Jahan’s beloved late wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1629.
