John Cabot • He was the first English explorer to reach north America. • He sailed on the Matthew • On his first voyage he only had 35 other people with him • He did two voyages • On his second voyage he met some Indians. • His first voyage was in 1497. • He did not find Asia. • He landed at Newfoundland in Canada.
