A drawing that looks like a segment of tape, used to illustrate number relationships. Also known as a strip diagram, bar model, fraction strip, or length model. Double Number Line There are 2 different quantities. Draw a pair of parallel number lines, one for each quantity, that are “hinged” at 0. Tad Watanabe, Kennesaw State University
