  3. Review • A follower of Christ is one that does what Christ did and does. • A disciple learns to do what the master does • The mission is “Reconciling people back to God.”

A Double Mind Kills the Ministry (1:1-8) • A mind with no faith (1:6-7) • He worries all the time. • He is entangled with the affairs of this life. • He has not committed his way unto the Lord. • A mind of pride (1:8-11) • A mind to sin (4:8; 1:12-15) • One drawn away by his own lust • A hypocritical Christian (Romans 7:15-17)

  5. A Deceived Mind Kills the Ministry (1:21-24) • The mistake of mental assent (Matt. 21:28-31) • Replacing ministry with religion (1:26-27)

  6. A Doing Mind Accomplishes the Work (1:25) • “Abide” in Christ (John 15:1-8) • Put to practice what you have learned (Matt. 7:21-25)
