  3. Aims • To think about how we can best support vulnerable children and their families as children transfer to school • To consider how we could further improve information sharing at points of transition • To share resources available to support the transition process

  14. Children Missing Education (CME) Best practice guidance has been developed for both early years practitioners and reception teachers in schools. It outlines the processes, steps and procedures which are recommended as good practice in Leicestershire. The guidance has recently been reviewed (April 2017) and is more extensive for Early Years providers, this is still draft.
