He scatters His bright clouds. 12 They swirl about, being turned by His guidance, That they may do whatever He commands them On the face of the whole earth. 13 He causes it to come, Whether for correction, Or for His land, Or for mercy. And the soul of the people became very discouraged on the way. 5 The people spoke against God and against Moses: Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water and our soul loathes this worthless bread. READ: 2 CHRONICLES 36:9-10 9 Jehoiachin was eight years old when he became king and he reigned in Jerusalem three months and ten days. And he did evil in the sight of the LORD. 10 At the turn of the year King Nebuchadnezzar summoned him and took him to Babylon, with the costly articles from the house of the LORD, and made Zedekiah, Jehoiakim's brother, king over Judah and Jerusalem. The king's mother, the king's wives, his officers, and the mighty of the land he carried into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon. 16 All the valiant men, seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths, one thousand, all who were strong and fit for war, these the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon. READ: DANIEL 5:1-3 1 Belshazzar the king made a great feast for a thousand of his lords and drank wine in the presence of the thousand. 2 While he tasted the wine, Belshazzar gave the command to bring the gold and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple which had been in Jerusalem, that the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines might drink from them. 3 They brought the gold vessels that had been taken from the temple of the house of God which had been in Jerusalem. And the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines drank from them. 30 That night Belshazzar , king of the Chaldeans, was slain. 31 And Darius the Mede received the kingdom, being about sixty-two years old. READ: DANIEL 8:1-3 VISION OF A RAM AND A GOAT 1 In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar a vision appeared to me — to me, Daniel — after the one that appeared to me the first time. 2 I saw in the vision and it so happened while I was looking that I was in Shushan, the citadel, which is in the province of Elam. I saw in the vision that I was by the River Ulai. NKJV

READ: JEREMIAH 30:5-7 5 For Thus says the LORD: ‘We have heard a voice of trembling, Of fear, and not of peace.’ 6 ‘Ask now and see, Whether a man is ever in labor with child? So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins Like a woman in labor, And all faces turned pale?’ 7 ‘Alas! For that day is great, So that none is like it. It is the time of Jacob's trouble, But he shall be saved out of it.’ NKJV

The mighty men's hearts in Moab on that day shall be Like the heart of a woman in birth pangs. READ: JEREMIAH 49:21-22 21 The earth shakes at the noise of their fall. At the cry its noise is heard at the Red Sea. 22 He shall come up and fly like the eagle And spread His wings over Bozrah. The heart of the mighty men of Edom in that day shall be Like the heart of a woman in birth pangs. NKJV

And I have come because of your words.” 13 “The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days. Behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me. For I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.”

As for me, no strength remains in me now, nor is any breath left in me.”

You anoint my head with oil and My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, To sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows. For so He gives His beloved sleep. NKJV READ: HOSEA 9:8 8 The watchman of Ephraim is with my God. But the prophet is a fowler's snare in all his ways. NKJV

READ: EZEKIEL 3:16-19 16 It came to pass at the end of seven days that the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me.” 18 “When I say to the wicked, You shall surely die and you give him no warning nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, That same wicked man shall die in his iniquity. But his blood I will require at your hand.” 19 “Yet, if you warn the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness nor from his wicked way, He shall die in his iniquity; But you have delivered your soul.” NKJV

READ: EZEKIEL 33:1-9 1 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, speak to the children of your people and say to them: When I bring the sword upon a land and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman,” 3 “When he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people,” 4 “Then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head.” 5 “He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning; His blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life.”

Therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.” 8 “When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ And you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, That wicked man shall die in his iniquity.
