Claudius • Was born on 1 August 10 BC in Gaul • He was the fourth Roman Emperor • Started the conquest of Britain
Bath and Aquae Sulis • A complex that was made for public bathing • Was built by Celts at the site of a hot springs • Was dedicated to goddess Sulis, for Romans Minerva.
Hadrians Wall • Was bulit by emperor Hadrain in 122 AD • Made of stone and turffortification • Was bulit to save Roman Britain from raiding Picts • A big amount of the wall still exists, especially the mid-part
