High School Requirements(Required for admission to Tennessee public universities) • English (4 units) • Visual and/or Performing Arts (1 unit) • Mathematics (3 units) • Natural & Physical Sciences (2 units) • Social Studies (2 units) • Foreign Language (2 units of a single foreign language)
Enrollment Requirements • U of M uses an “Admission Index”(GPA x 30) + ACT = Admission IndexEx: 3.0 GPA, 21 ACT(3.0 x 30) + 21 = 111 • Admission Index of 95 or greater is guaranteed admission • Index rising over the next few years • ACT composite score of 26 or greater or a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater will also be admitted
