  2. Today’s Agenda: • Review pp. 1520-1531 • Notes • Begin reading Act I • Homework: finish reading Act 1. Answer study guide questions and vocab.

  3. Discuss people’s fascination with the supernatural. Why do we enjoy this in movies, books, etc..? Do you believe in this stuff? Explain.

  5. When there is any kind of disruption within the chain of being, the country is in trouble and strange supernatural things may happen as a sign of disorder. Once order is restored, things get back to normal. • Elizabethans were fascinated with the supernatural!! So, they expected to see ghosts and supernatural stuff as part of the plot when they went to the theater.
