FCVs Demonstration in Beijing 2008 Olympics and Paralympics

This demonstration showcases FCVs during the 2008 Beijing Olympics and Paralympics. Dr. He Yuntang from CATARC.ac.cn led the project. Part 1 focuses on FCVs in PC, Part 2 on buses, and Part 3 on FCVs in a marathon setting. The routes for the FCVs included fixed and random lines, as well as a marathon line set by BOCOG. Dr. Wan Gang, Minister of MOST, was a key figure in managing the operation. The FCVs collectively traveled 50,566 km with hydrogen consumption at 1.2kg/100km. Part 2 discusses bus routes and demorunning data during the Olympics and Paralympics. Key points highlighted include mileage assessments and safety precautions such as leakage monitoring and precaution systems. FCHEVs participated in the marathon game, showing good reliability and safety. The conclusion emphasizes successful performance and future potential for FCVs.
