Network Misconceptions • When Logging in you only need to put firstname.lastname • You do not need to put Portage.k12.in.us • Outlook is now keyed to Lastname for searches.
Saving My Files • H Drive is where your old stuff should be • My Documents is your centrally repository going forward • Wherever you login, your my documents will follow you. • Space issues • Not for Videos and films from personal events. • Pictures and videos should be archived out to external media after 3 years.
Active Sync on IPAD or IPHONE • Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Microsoft Exchange. • Enter the information in the fields below, then hit Next
Android Sync to Exchange • On the ANDROID device please select Settings > Accounts & Sync > Add Account > Exchange ActiveSync.

Reading a messages. • Preview or Double Click to open
Responding to a Message • Reply - Compose an email to the sender, in response to the email received. • Reply - All Compose an email in response to the sender, with a copy to all who received the original email message. • Forward - Forward an email message to chosen contacts. • Meeting - Create a meeting request when you reply to an email
Delete an Email • Select the Email and use Delete Key • Permanently Delete using SHIFT Delete Key
Contact Groups vs Distribution Lists • Distribution lists are maintained by ITS • Contact groups are maintained by each users • Can be shared
