  2. Define Diversity • Diversity is any characteristic that makes someone different from someone else. It could be race, religion, social status, or just some characteristic that sets them apart from someone else.

  3. Bilingual Education • Try making them comfortable in the classroom • Help them with visual pictures or drawings • Help them after school if possible

  4. Reducing Racism • Treat all students equally • Having respect for all students and teachers • Except all beliefs of every student • Create multicultural groups in the classroom

  5. Becoming Aware • Watch all students during a lesson • Look at test scores of every student • Talk to other teachers about struggling students • Try different teaching styles
