Students’ EvaluationResults • I met a lot of people / friends from other countries- 15 ticks • I used the English language and improved the knowledge in English -15 ticks • got to know another culture – 15 ticks • interesting work / activities (museum) connected with the project – 15 ticks • worked in international groups- 15 ticks • I tasted new food that I liked- 15 ticks • good organization -15 ticks • good experiment to be so far from home 15 ticks • good meetings in the evening with all 15 ticks • difficult communication, different levels in English, different accents5 ticks • organization not so good • dead moments / wasted time / waiting for teachers • no games to get to know each other 1 tick • not enough free time- 1tick • visit of the museum boring- • very expensive • problems with acculturation in Istanbul • not many results concerning the subjects of the project – • international groups should be better mixed • only theoretical activities

Howdoyouevaluatethe students’ workinTurkey • Bulgarianteamsaysthatitwasfantastic. Perfectplanningandamazingprogramme. Thehostingarrangedforour students wasfarbeyondexpectations-veryfriendlyandcaringparents, attentiveandcareful students, hospitableandlovingatalltimes. Theactivitiesforstudentswerewell-organizedandarranged. Thecontacts students hadwereonlyinEnglishandthatimprovedtheircommunicationskillsandtheirnewfriendsandfamiliesinTurkeyconvincedthemtheywillalwayswelcomeinIstanbul. Thetearsatdeparturewere a sincerereactionofall students andstaffbecausethefriendlyandrelaxedatmosphrewaspreciousandunforgettableindeed. • Spanishteam
LatvianteamsaysthattheworkhasbeendonegreatandtheTurkishschoolhasshownwonderfulexampleofhow it mustbedone. • EnglishteamGoodwork. The students wereable to produce a rangeandvarietyofworkthatwassuitablefortheoccasion. Theyhastheopportunity to exploreanddevelop a rangeofthings, inparticular to workwiththe students fromTurkeyandthosethatcamefromothercountries • CzechteamwehopetheComenius students enjoyedtheworkshopsatschoolandthefashionshow. Theywereverycollaborativeandkeen to fulfilthetasks • ItalianteamExcellent. Weweregiven a verywarmhospitality. Wehad no Italian students withus, butwehadtheopportunity to seethe students fromothercountriesthatmixedverywell. Thehost students werefriendlyandready to help

Therewas a broadmixofsocialinteractionalongwithcityspecificactivities. Weweregiventhechance to gain a betterunderstandingofthecityšculturalheritage.. Alongwithlookingatthecontemporarylivesthatthepeoplewerelivingtoday • CzechteamTheculturalprogrammewasverybusyandeducational • Bulgarianteamsaythattheyhadtheuniqueopportunity to visitallmainattractionsdue to thecarefulorganisationwiththebusforallthegroupsattendingthemeetinginIstanbul. Thesightsareamazinganduniquewehadthechance to seeallthepalacesandmosques, visitedtheKoskafactory. • Spanishteam • ItalianteamExcellent. Weweregiven a privatecoach, a boatand a guide. WevisitedallthemostimportantsitesofIstanbul, receivingplentyofinformation. Thisiscertainlyanunforgettableexperience
