Alcohol Abuse • Alcohol contributes to 8500 hospital admissions per year in Glasgow • The youngest person to be found with liver damage was a 17 year old boy who had been drinking since he was 12. • Deprivation can be linked to alcohol abuse. • Alcohol consumption not the only reason it causes so much harm- it’s the risks such as poor diet or drug use and environmental risks such as drinking on the street.
