Conclusion • Security measures are in place and will be periodically assessed to ensure comprehensive maritime security in the area. • The Singapore anchorages will be increasingly over-crowded. NTAA offers the best alternatives. • Skilled and lower cost Indonesian workers can also serve ship repair and maintenance activities in NTAA offering alternative work for the local community. • Customs and Immigration arrangements would not be neglected. GOS continues to engage with these departments. Currently log support will be provided to bring immigration officers to clients' vessel. • In the medium term, NTAA is also being considered for free trade zone - this will resolve significant customs issues and further enable NTAA to leverage on Singapore’s venue as a logistics hub
