Emergency Procedures • Emergency procedures will be reviewed with staff members. • Emergency drills will be conducted monthly as outlined by Granite District Policy including fire drills, lock down drills, and earthquake drills. • The school is currently working to develop an emergency preparedness manual which will include procedures for checking out students to parents in the event it should become necessary to send them all home.
Playground Security • Further investigation will be done on how we can also improve the security of the playground. • This may result in less convenient access points.
Parent Support • Respect the policies that are being put in place and understand they are there to safe guard students and staff. • Help educate friends and neighbors in the community. • Remind your children to use the correct doors as they enter and exit the building.
