Lok Biradri Prakalp – Gadchiroli, Maharashtra In 1973, Lop Biradari Prakalp was started by legendary social worker late Dr. Baba Amte with the aim to stop exploitation of tribals. • Residential School for local children from Madia Gond tribe. • Rationale: To make them aware of their rights and an endeavor to provide them better future. • An effort to make them part of main stream. • An Overview: 650 children from Balwadi to 12th standard. • Free educational material along with lodging and uniform. • Sports Education. • Computer literacy programme. • Asha Zurich is supporting residential activities of 100 children.
