Edit Quiz Settings Professional Development Training
Why? • When the master courses are copied out the each campus the quiz settings do not contain the correct dates, times, or access options. • The instructor is responsible for adjusting these settings for each quiz, assignment, or worksheet at the beginning of the term. • The quiz settings also control access. A mistake here can prevent your students from accessing a quiz, homework assignment, or worksheet.

Step 6: Click on Expand All CLICK HERE

Step 13: Set Review Options ONLY USE THESE OPTIONS

Step 14.5: Extra Access Restrictions ONLY USE THESE OPTIONS Change the password to one of your own choosing. Do not use the same password for every quiz.
Step 15: Common Module Settings ONLY USE THESE OPTIONS
Step 16: Restrict Access ONLY USE THESE OPTIONS Enabling any of these dates will prevent students from reviewing their quizzes. If you have your Open and Close dates set properly you do not need these.
Step 17: Activity Completion ONLY USE THESE OPTIONS If activity completion does not show go into your course settings and turn it on.

Note: Access Restrictions • If you see a greyed out area next to activity with the words “Access Restrictions” and the students cannot access the quiz you will need to recheck step #16 as well as the open and close dates/times.

Override for Single Student Professional Development Training
Why? • If a student misses a quiz, exam, or assignment in the quiz format and if your program allows makeups you will need to give the single student access to makeup without opening the quiz for everyone else. • This provides a record of overrides and makeup quizzes. This is part of the student’s records and course records.

Step 6: Click on Add User Override CLICK HERE
Step 7: Fill Out the Override Dates and Times Select Student New Password
Step 8: Save Click Here
