  5. BACKGROUND Vision and support from local institutions, entrepreneurial associations and companies of Brescia territory. Enhancement of privilege relationship with local universities, aimed at international development of structures and human resources.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES • to favor synergies between the participants and specific initiatives for improving competitiveness of companies and local territory; • to manage, through the leading company, research initiatives, innovation, technology transfer and education; • to promote the development of local industrial chains, historically significant or emerging • to design shared research initiatives, innovation, technology transfer and high international education; • to develop international relationships through the cooperation with similar realities, also to foster the access to national and international funding; • to organize and attend events as a network.

  7. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE To review the European classification rule for SME, in order to obtain: • acknowledgement of SME status for industrial networks • inclusion of Research and Technology Transfer Centres • inclusion of medium – large companies, with dimensions up to 1.000 employees and 500 M€ annual business.
