Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica) Liquefied products Liquefied agents (PEG400/glycerol; PEG600/glycerol) Liquefaction Solvent/wood: 3/1 w/w Catalyst: H2SO4 Reaction time: 75 min Temperature: 150℃ Experiment skeleton - LiquefiedJapanese cedar-
epoxy resin Liquefied wood 0/100 40/100 Experiment skeleton - Liquefied wood/epoxy resin polyblends - Polyblending (LW/EP)
Conclusions • DSC thermoanalysis of polyblends • It was an exothermic reaction. • It could be further cross-linked with heating. • LW/EP polyblends (60/100) vs.traditional epoxy resins -heating with 90℃ for 3 h -Its bonding strength was better.
