Focusing on the Göteborg strategy Indicators to be defined for the EU SD Strategy No competition with Lisbon Structural Indicators, for they answer to different needs (different time horizons/priorities) Anyway, interaction is crucial and the Lisbon priorities shall be integrated by the Göteborg strategy • A Task-Force on SD indicators was created • (12 Member States, 2 EFTA, 2 Accession Countries, • several EC DGs, OECD, UN-CSD, EEA) • Main objectives: • initial list of indicators elaborated in Mar 2004 for the review of • the EU SD Strategy in 2004 • coordination with other SD initiatives Conferinta Nationala privind Dezvoltarea Sistemului Statistic de Mediu in Romania Tulcea, 13-14 Mai 2004
