  2. WHAT I THOUGHT • I though there were some very interesting articles while I was researching • I have a positive TB skin test and I was wondering how that could be-now I know!

  3. WHAT I FOUND IN LIT REVIEW • I found many different articles explaining why a positive test isn’t necessarily a true-positive test • I also found answers to many questions I had concerning tuberculosis

  4. DIRECTIONS FOR FURTHER RESEARCH • I think we should put some money into finding alternatives to the tuberculin skin test • More people should be educated on the test and why it can be misleading

  5. CONCLUSION • There are several people in the world that test positive on tuberculin skin tests • However, several of these are subjective because of previous BCG vaccinations & exposure to nontuberculous mycobacteria
