  2. What is a Robot? • a machine that resembles a human and does mechanical, routine tasks on command. • any machine or mechanical device that operates automatically with humanlike skill.

  3. Robot Use • Robots can be used to complete almost any task. • From building products to entertaining people robots can be extremely useful.

  4. Wall Hugging Mouse • The wall hugging mouse uses whiskers to “hug” walls as it moves. • Can detect how far away from wall it is and will adjust accordingly. • Costs $19.95

  5. How it works • The mouse is driven by two electric motors. • It uses a micro switch and a feeler whisker to regulate power to the motors. • It is powered by 1 C battery.
