Purpose • Provide a venue that allows Marines to identify emerging OIF needs and a mechanism to rapidly respond to their requests. • Support the Secretary’s urgent desire to provide maximum support to deployed Marines Responsive support to the warfighter
Considerations • Address across DOTMLPF • Process has to be easy, accessible, visible, timely and responsive • Broad input combined with command prioritization • Address solutions achievable within 6 months as a priority and consider solutions up to two years • Will not replace existing processes and organizations but will enhance rapid acquisition • Harness all resources (Military and Industry) • Enduring Freedom Combat Assessment Team (EFCAT) link to be added to website
