Censusof Marine Life 2010 Synthesis Participation • Due to the global nature of CoML, there is a need of an active regional participation • Produce a coherent and global synthesis within and across projects, but adding regional components or suggesting potential applications
Censusof Marine Life 2010 Synthesis Participation • Comparison of different regions with respect to state of knowledge, level of human impact and ecosystems/species under threat • KUU regional update with a global comparison
Censusof Marine Life Regional Communication Strategies • Identify potential regional receptors of Synthesis products, to cover the demands of managers, policy makers, industry, educators and scientific community
Censusof Marine Life Regional Communication Strategies • Address educational agendas considering the different socioeconomic environments and needs • Design E&O products according to regional needs and development
