PIs: Ulf Båmstedt (Sweden), Marsh Youngbluth (USA) Z4: Trophic structure of major copepods, euphausids and fish larvae across the mid-Atlantic Ridge. PI: Asthor Gislasson (Iceland)

Pelagic nekton studies: Co-ordinators: Uwe Piatkowski, Olav Rune Godø PN1:Longitudinal and latitudinal changes in mesopelagic/ bathypelagic nektonic fauna (fish, cephalopods and crustaceans) along MAR. PIs: Uwe Piatkowski (Germany), Tracey Sutton (USA) PN2:Interactions of mesopelagic and bathypelagic fauna with the benthopelagic community associated with MAR seamounts/ slopes.
