  1. Fourth Grade Behavior Plan

  2. Tickets • Students are eligible to earn two tickets per school day. One ticket is earned during the A.M and the second ticket is earned during the P.M. Earning tickets is based on paws-itive behavior.

  3. Day Six Awards • Students who earn between 8-12 tickets per cycle will be eligible for the small cycle award (i.e. extra recess, game time, etc.) and will be awarded a circus stamp on their stamp chart. • Each student will have a stamp chart kept in their ticket bag. Each stamp chart will last 4 school cycles. Students who earn all 4 stamps will be invited to the fourth grade circus.

  4. Checks • Fourth grade will use a three-check system to monitor inappropriate behavior. Students will be given checks for behaviors such as: disrespect, disorganization, . If a student earns a check in the A.M, they will no longer be eligible for their morning ticket for that day. If a student earns a check in the P.M, they will be no longer eligible for the P.M ticket that day. • 1 check – Warning • 2 checks – Recess • 3 checks- Detention • Once a student earns three checks they will be given a think sheet to be signed and returned.

  5. Think Sheet • A student will be given a think sheet when he/she earns three checks for a day. This think sheet will be a reflective assignment that includes a written plan for improving behavior. • The think sheet will be completed during detention.

  6. Detention • Detention will occur when the student has received three checks in one school day. Detention will typically be served the same day after you and your teacher make a phone call home.

  7. Pink Homework Slips • Pink slips are given when a homework assignment is missed. Pink slips are sent home to be signed and returned. • When 3 homework assignments are missed in one week a Think Sheet is issued and will be completed during detention.

  8. Think Sheets • If 3 think sheets are earned in one month the student may lose a fun activity such as a
