Importance of Tracking and Traceability and 3 Issue Points 1. First Issue- On the points of Consumers 2. Second Issue-On the points of Manufacturers 3. Third Issue-On the points of Each Country
First Issue- On the points of Consumers • ☞Consumers want safe products, internationally harmonized market surveillance and manufacturers that take responsibility for their product. Consumers are most important in recent years and customer satisfaction are very necessary for the sustainable growth of the manafaturers. • ☞Before the tracking and traceability system, manufacturers must produce the qualitative items throughthe advanced quality management system. By producing the qualitative items, tracking and traceability system will be able to have more crediblility. • ☞More important issue is every consumer should know the concept and contents of the tracking and traceability system. To do that, tracking and traceability system must be designed more easily and clearly for consumers to understand and catch up more easily
Second Issue-On the points of Manufacturers • ☞Traceability and tracking system is not only as a means of tracingproduct but to also assist with market surveillance and manufacturers. • ☞ Manufacturers see their product traceability as the key to product safety. This information allows for more efficient assessment of incidents and quicker decisions on recalls. Downstream traceability increases the effectiveness of a recall but manufacturers are concerned with protecting consumer privacy and also their products. • ☞Consumers were not simply avoiding the products recalled or the products made by a company who had a recalled product, they were also avoiding the products made in that particular part of the world. • ☞Only uniform requirement is that the tracking information required is ascertainable from the distinguishing marks on the products and packagings. Accordingly individual manufacturer can choose to achieve this end through his own reasonable judgment. • ☞Sufficient time must be allowed for individual manufacture by its concerns. • ☞Appropriate measures for small volume manufacturers and crafters must be taken.
Third Issue-On the points of Each Country ☞ Each country has its peculiar characteristics in the culture of the consumers and manufacturers. So every system must be applied appropriately for the status of each country over the world. ☞ This issue may be more important in less developed countries. ☞ There may be some more sufficient time to implement globally the tracking and traceability system. But it is most important and must be applicable over the worldwide countries.
