Gr-r-reat Manager U Learning Teams What are the Gr-r-reat Manager U Learning Teams? Groups of learners who are enrolled in the Gr-r-reat Manager U curriculum and have completed the 2 day “Managing for Optimal Performance” workshop. Learning Teams will meet four to eight times over a period of approximately 8 months. These meetings will allow learners to share what they learn as well as their experience in transferring what they have learned into their jobs.
Gr-r-reat Manager U Learning Teams • Each meeting will be customized to address the following: • Touch bases kick off (discuss progress through GMU curriculum since last meeting) • Report on-the-job application milestones • Collaborative solution session (individual on the team brings a challenge - group works to address that challenge with a solution)
Gr-r-reat Manager U Learning Teams Why have Gr-r-reat Manager U Learning Teams? PURPOSE: To emphasize and facilitate on-the-job transfer of skills and knowledge learned through the curriculum. Gr-r-reat Manager U offers other benefits by reducing the isolation that could result from exclusively web-based learning opportunities and also allowing learners to come into contact with individuals from across the organization thereby offering an opportunity to learn more about the business.
