Welcome to St Simon’sFEAST OF THE HOLY FAMILYwww.stsimonspartick.org.uk
ENTRY CAROL O little town of Bethlehem, how still we see thee lie Above thy deep & dreamless sleep the silent stars go by Yet in thy dark streets shineth the everlasting light The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight. O morning stars together proclaim the holy birth And praises sing to God the King & peace to all on earth For Christ is born of Mary and gathered all above While mortals sleep the angels keep their watch of wondering love. How silently, how silently the wondrous gift is given So God imparts to human hearts the blessings of his heaven No ear may hear his coming but in this world of sin Where meek souls will receive him still the dear Christ enters in.

THE APOSTLES’ CREED • 1. I believe in God the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. • 2. And in Jesus Christ, his only Son our Lord, • who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, • suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. • He descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead. • He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. • From there He will come to judge the living and the dead. • I believe in the Holy Spirit, • the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, • the forgiveness of sins • the resurrection of the body • and life everlasting. Amen
