  3. Unit Summary • Students will assume the role of auto mechanic. • He will find and rectify the effects and possible causes of over heating. • They will arrange a public vehicle for carrying out the project based study.

  4. Essential Question • Why Glaciers melt?

  5. Unit Question • What will happen if our body temperature increases? • Why cooling system is used in vehicle?

  6. Content Questions • What is normal temperature of engine ? • How you will come to know car is overheated • What will happen if hose pipe is pinched? • What will happen if radiator cap is faulty? • Thermostat is stuck open position .What will be effect on engine efficiency in cold weather starting? • What are the heat transfer methods ? • Name important components of cooling system? • Consult the workshop manual of suzuki mehran and trace out the location and wiring diagram of radiator eclectic fan ? • What are important safety precaution when working on cooling system ?

  7. OBJECTIVE Students will check the following • Check presence of corrosion in water • Noise of water pump • Loose fan belt • Working of electric fan • Function of thermostat

PROJECT EXPECTATION Attend all assigned days of class and all assigned hour each day • Develop work ethics, be cooperative and team player, made assessments to arrange material requirement and arrange them will in time to achieve targets. • Discuss and participate in all pedagogical discussions located throughout the curricular activities . • Understand master teacher requirements and expectations • Discuss strategies for conducting a successful course.
