Programmes/courses • HELM On-Boarding – online focus on macro and meta environment • HELM Foundations – HoS/HoDs, Deans, DVCs, 2 days per semester supported by online learning repository • HELM Academic – Deans, 6 months, 10 days contact • HELM Admin – Senior & middle management, student development, 2 days per semester • HELM Executive – VCs retreats, international exchanges, executive mentoring
Programmes/courses cont.. • HELM Equity – women in leadership, diversity management, change management • HELM Thematic – research management/development, quality management, campus safety, 2 days per semester • HELM Specialist – HR management, planning and quality management, procurement, infrastructure management, 2 days per semester • HELM Formal – PG diploma, core modules and electives, research report, 24 months part-time, blended learning and residential study periods
Partnerships and collaborations • DHET a strategic partner with USAf and providing financial support • Homegrown interventions, ‘’for universities by universities,’’ taking current institutional programmes to scale • Strong focus on benchmarking and collaboration with leading regional and international institutions • ‘’Deep dives’’ (e.g. deans, women in leadership) will include an international learning experience • Exploring the creation of pan African university leadership academy, through strategic alliances with key partners
