  11. PROBLEMS WITH PARENTS • SON BEING COACHED AT SUPPER TABLE – “DON’T PASS TO HIM” • SON IS NOT HAPPY WITH ROLE- BEFORE YOU BLAME THE COACH – THINK OF SON’STRAINING EFFORTS, THINK OF YOUR BIAS, THINK OF OUR YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, THINK THAT THE COACHES WILL ACTUALLY PLAY THE MOST TALENTED PLAYERS THE MOST AMOUNT OF MINUTES. • ICE TIME – DECIDED AT PRACTICES(NOT ATTENDED BY MANY PARENTS) AND GAMES. • CAPTAINCY ISSUES – PLAYERS AND COACHES • AWARDS AT BANQUET = PLAYERS AND COACHES VOTE. • COLLEGE PLACEMENT – “HE DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP MY KID GET INTO SCHOOL – I WILL HELP ANY WAY I CAN; RECCOMENDATION LETTER, ETC…

MORE NUMBERS WILL CAUSE MORE COMPETITION & RESULT IN A STRONGER PROGRAM. WE ARE ABSOLUTELY SEEING THAT NOW. • THERE WILL BE SOME ENCOURAGING & POSSIBLY DISCOURAGING GAMES THIS YEAR.
