Consensus Ground Rules • Present your position clearly, logically and respectfully; also listen to each team member’s reactions and consider them carefully before you press your point • Support only those solutions with which you are at least somewhat able to agree • Seek out differences of opinion • Involve everyone in the decision process • Look for the next most acceptable alternative for all members when the team reaches a stalemate
