ITRS ITWG / IRC Membership Policy • Formal ITRS members are part of the technology working group teams as determined by the IRC representatives of the five regional co-sponsors of the ITRS: Europe, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and the U.S.A. ITRS TWG members--both regional and international TWG [ITWG] representatives--are only from these regions. Their eligibility for membership is confirmed by the TWG chair and co-chair based on needed expertise and regional affiliation. Regional IRC representatives can also confirm their region's representatives for TWGs. • Informal work is conducted through contacts and relationships with other roadmapping efforts and teams, for example, iNEMI; however, the current formal ITRS membership is limited to the five regions. • Additionally, the ITRS teams should continue to encourage review and commentary from the industry at large, while maintaining the "work-in-progress, do not publish" position for all draft ITRS materials until regional IRC approval of the Roadmap and formal release during our Winter Public Conference. • Ask for the Roadmapping Process presentation for your team and for clarification.
